Who we are
We are four CU Boulder students who studied abroad and spent an embarrassing amount of time piecing together information that should have been in one place. Program sites told us what they wanted us to hear. Forums were five years out of date. The useful stuff came from people one year ahead of us, over coffee.
The Abroad Board is that conversation, written down. Everything here comes from somebody who was actually there, and every story carries the name of the person who lived it.
Why trust us
- We are not an agency and we take no money from study abroad providers.
- Every story names its author. Recommendations are pooled from named submissions.
- We do not invent content to fill a page. Empty sections stay empty until a real student fills them.
- Where we are not sure, we say so and point you at the official source.
